Description:
A company based in Hatfield is looking for a technically strong IT & Infrastructure Support Engineer with solid Linux and Oracle experience to provide second-line support for Linux servers, Oracle databases, networking systems, and tolling operations at remote sites.
This role involves system monitoring, troubleshooting, hardware/software support, and ensuring uptime across multiple remote sites. You will work closely with internal teams, field technicians, and external suppliers to maintain operational stability and system reliability.

Diploma / Degree in IT (advantageous)

A+ and N+ qualifications/certificates or equivalent experience

Experience with Linux administration (RedHat/Debian)

Oracle database experience

Networking experience (LAN/WAN)

SQL knowledge (advantageous)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent English communication, both written and verbal
-
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
