A respected manufacturing company is seeking a Cost and Management Accountant to join its Western Cape team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in managing financial and cost accounting processes to ensure accurate reporting, effective cost control, and improved profitability. You will lead and coordinate inventory control, analyse margins, plan and deliver financial reports, and drive projects that enhance product cost efficiency. Your expertise in product costing, financial planning, and systems management will be essential in maintaining high-quality financial standards and supporting informed business decisions across the organisation.
Requirements:
To be considered, you will need a B.Com in either Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, or Financial Management, with 2-5 years of financial experience. You must have proven experience in product costing, price negotiation, planning, and execution, along with advanced Microsoft suite skills and Syspro experience is a plus. Strong analytical abilities, interpersonal skills, and effective communication are essential. Candidates must be deadline-driven, capable of converting requirements into actionable outputs, and confident in identifying, implementing, and monitoring sustainable solutions.
