A Fuel Service Station Manager would oversee daily operations, including fuel procurement, inventory management, staff scheduling, safety compliance, and financial reporting to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Key responsibilities include maintaining site cleanliness, managing customer service, optimizing sales, and adhering to strict environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Operational Management: Oversee daily activities, including fuel dispensing, convenience store operations, and equipment maintenance. Inventory Control: Monitor fuel levels, manage stock levels for retail products, and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries. Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise forecourt and store staff to ensure excellent customer service. Compliance & Safety: Implement safety, health, and environmental regulations, maintaining a secure, clean environment. Financial Administration: Manage cash-up procedures, daily reconciliations, and bank deposits. Sales Growth: Analyze performance metrics to drive sales of fuel, lubricants, and convenience products.Requirements & Skills
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a management role, ideally within a retail or service station environment. Knowledge: Understanding of fuel, lubricants, and, in some cases, advanced lubrication technologies. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in point-of-sale systems. Attributes: Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle both operational and financial tasks efficiently.Key Performance Indicators
