Description:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and mechanically join sheets, plates, tubes, pipes, and steel sections.
- Perform heat treatment processes on engineering metals.
- Maintain belt conveyor components.
- Attend to call-outs regarding breakdowns and provide timely solutions.
- Ensure that engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards and specifications.
- Maintain engineering equipment according to agreed standards and schedules.
- Repair engineering equipment when required, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Contribute to a competent, positive, and motivated team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade Certificate - Boilermaker
- A Senior Certificate - Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Trade Certificate
- Minimum 5 years experience after completion of Trade in a Chrome Ore beneficiation and ROM Plant
- Crushing, screening & conveyor belt experience
- Own reliable transport - not negotiable
- Medically fit & no criminal record
- Plant/Mining experienceCommunication will be limited to short listed candidates.
