A leading and well-established building developer / contractor in the Winelands District and Cape Town (Constantia) are currently seeking site-based Quantity Surveyors to join their growing commercial team on prominent construction projects.This opportunity is ideally suited to experienced site QS who are confident in taking full commercial responsibility on active building sites and reporting directly to a respected Commercial Director / Commercial Manager.
Current Projects Include:
Private School Development Constantia Private School Development Durbanville Block of Apartments Stellenbosch Minimum Requirements:
B.Sc Quantity Surveying or B.Tech Quantity Surveying
Minimum 7 to 12+ years experience as a Site Quantity Surveyor within the contracting / development environment
Strong site-based experience is essential
Experience on commercial, residential and retail building projects will be highly advantageous
B.Sc Quantity Surveying Honours Degree coupled with relevant experience will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Full on-site Quantity Surveying functions
Financial planning, control and reporting
Appointment and management of subcontractors
Material procurement and cost control
Contract administration and general commercial administration
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager / Commercial Director
