I am a serial entrepreneur managing multiple e-commerce and lifestyle brands (ranging from pet tech to health/wellness). I’m looking for an AI-forward Marketing Assistant / Intern who knows how to use modern tools to work smarter, not harder.
Your goal isn't to write every word from scratch, it’s to use AI to generate high-quality social media content, marketing copy and brand assets.
Some of what You’ll Do (Using AI):
Content Batching: Generate weekly content calendars, captions and scripts/content for Instagram/TikTok.
Visual Magic: Use tools like Canva or Midjourney to create/edit product graphics and content.
Market Research: Prompt AI to find trends in the international and local market
Brand Support: Draft engaging responses to DMs and comments to keep our community active. Find social media influencers for brand partnerships etc.
Digital Marketing: Ability to contribute to the digital marketing strategy and assist with the execution.
Who you are:
A student or freelancer obsessed with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Canva, or Midjourney.
Interested in e-commerce, social media and digital marketing
Efficient: You take pride in using AI to turn 1 hour of work into a week’s worth of content.
Fluent in English with a sharp eye for design/ aesthetic and "non-robotic" copy.
Must have own laptop and internet connection
The Deets:
Remuneration: R2,000 per month (Retainer).
Time Commitment: Approx. 10 hours per week (Fully Remote/Flexible).
