Description:
My client is looking for a Senior SQL and .NET Developer based in Johannesburg with a hybrid working model.
Requirements:
· Minimum 10 years’ experience using and programming in C#, .NET, and SQL
· At least 5 recent years of daily hands-on C#, .NET, SQL experience
· Solid understanding of relational databases and database design
· Expert knowledge of T-SQL , including stored procedures, triggers, views, indexes, constraints, and relational design
· Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Excel integration with SQL Server (3+ years)
· SQL query and stored procedure optimization skills, including use of Query Analyzer
· Strong general programming skills; experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL advantageous
· Experience using AI coding tools to improve development efficiency
· Advanced Excel and VBA programming knowledge
· Knowledge of secure development principles and SQL environment tracing tools
· Experience with Python for AI, APIs, or automation (advantageous)
· Web development experience: ASP.NET / .NET Core / MVC / Razor / Blazor
· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
· Web Services development: RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services
· CLR development for SQL Server (advantageous)
· Experience with Node-Red (advantageous)
