Description:
Tutor/Fasiliteerder/Onderwyser required for a well-known and established Tutor and Assessment Centre for the Foundation and Intermediary phases. Position is based in Randfontein, West Rand, Gauteng.
CAPS/KABV curriculum. Well spoken and written abilities in both Afrikaans and English. Leer en Doen en alle vakke vir Intermedi-ere fase.
JOB DESCRIPTION, included but not limited to:
- Preparing of lesson material per subject allocated to Tutor.
- Presenting/Tutoring subjects to learners in both Afrikaans and English.
- Printing and preparing Tasks, Tests and Exam papers for required subjects presented. Afrikaans and English.
- Providing guidance and assistance to learners in learning material, activities, tasks. English and Afrikaans.
- Providing assistance and guidance with tasks/test/exam preparations.
- Marking Tasks, Tests, Exam papers, PATS, excluding FET phase Tests and Exams.
- Preparing class rooms and ensure cleaning of class rooms daily.
- Assisting with preparation and attend Parent's evenings and Prize Giving ceremony.
- Reporting of disciplinary matters to Director.
- Assisting with general office duties.
Wersksure/Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 07h30 to 14h00.

Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 Senior National Certificate.
- Language proficiencies in both Afrikaans and English (non negotiable).
- Currently studying towards degree, diploma or certificates will be considered.
- Minimum of two (2) years post school work experience, preferably in Teaching, Tutoring, Skills Development.
- Passionate about the development, progress and learning of children.
- Patience and understanding for children with learning difficulties, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, etc.
- Mature personality.
- Must be comfortable to work as part of a team.
