Our client, a leading technology company in the travel/hospitality sector, is seeking a Java Developer to join their expanding development team. This role offers 100% remote work and provides the opportunity to contribute to scalable, high-performance systems that power thousands of hotels and online booking platforms.
Role Overview
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs critical to core systems
• Enhance and manage payment systems , ensuring secure and efficient processing
• Implement software design patterns to promote scalability and maintainability
• Integrate with external APIs and contribute to database development for optimal performance
• Build automated tests and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Utilize Docker for containerization and collaborate on CI/CD workflows
• Contribute to DevOps practices , monitoring, and infrastructure automation
Requirements
• Certificate or Degree in IT / Computer Science preferred
• 4+ years’ experience in Java backend development
• Strong experience in RESTful API design and software design
• Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing experience
• Docker containerization experience
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
Nice-to-Have
• Messaging frameworks for inter-service communication
• Redis for caching and performance optimization
• DevOps exposure
• Playwright for automated testing
