Description:
This position is based in Port Elizabeth.
JOB PURPOSE
To provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the depot and customers.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Data capturing
Booking of Cargo
Ensure Cargo is dispatched timeously and accurately as per client’s requirements.
Assisting with Credits
Manage daily Work Qs within 48 hours.
Managing emails/telephonic communication and timeous feedback to clients.
Receipt of manifests from Groupage operators
Give instructions to TIC (Haulage)
Opening of files
Create appointments and print files.
Print export labels
Print trem cards and MSDS
Amendments by GO
Arranging of all special instructions on system and file
Send instructions regarding high value cargo to depot.
Pulling of files expected daily.
Liaising with Groupage operators for queries on their cargo
Processing credit documents on OASIS
Assist in Filing of Import /export documents.
Examination (Booking and invoicing)
Export receiving & loading.
Releasing of cargo & release queries
Assist with credits (both import and export)
FCL – requesting of PO’s and SO’s
Filing of relevant documentation as required
Send outturn reports from various depots.
Unpack invoicing.
IDM invoicing
KEY COMPETENCIES
Matric
Computer literacy – MS Office (WMS literacy is beneficial)
Excellent communication skills: via telephone and email
Excellent interpersonal skills – must be able to communicate on all levels.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Team player
Experience in warehousing and logistics is a requirement.
