Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain all plant utilities including boilers, compressed air systems, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, water treatment systems, and electrical distribution Oversee and maintain ammonia refrigeration plants, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, steam, gas) and implement cost-saving and energy efficiency initiatives Lead preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to ensure maximum uptime Troubleshoot breakdowns and provide technical support to maintenance teams Ensure statutory inspections and compliance with OHS Act and environmental legislation Drive continuous improvement projects and utility system optimization Manage contractors and service providers related to utilities infrastructure Minimum Requirements:
BEng / BSc / BTech / National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering 5+ years experience in utilities engineering within a manufacturing or FMCG environment Proven experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems (essential) Strong knowledge of boilers, compressors, and energy management systems Understanding of pressure vessels and refrigeration safety standards GCC (Factories) advantageous Key Competencies:
