Key Responsibilities
- Depending on the environment, typical focus areas include:
- Managing the full tax function across corporate, indirect tax and VAT.
- Providing tax advisory support on restructures, transactions and compliance matters.
- Reviewing and preparing complex tax computations and returns.
- Liaising with SARS, auditors, and senior stakeholders.
- Identifying tax risks and optimisation opportunities for the business. Job Experience and Skills Required
- BCom in Tax / Accounting or similar.
- Honours or Masters in Tax is highly preferred.
- Professional Memberships (Strong Advantage): SAIT membership, TA(SA), bonus if you are also a CA(SA).
- ±5 years experience in a full tax function environment.
- Exposure to corporate tax, VAT and advisory work.
- Experience from consulting, corporate, or mixed environments.
- Strong technical tax knowledge.
- Commercial mindset, not just compliance.
- Confident communicator with stakeholders.
