ROLE SUMMARY
We seek a Coordinator to support implementation across ECD centres: provide educator support, facilitate training and parent workshops, engage communities, ensure quality delivery and report on progress.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate FMSL implementation across assigned ECD centres.
- Provide mentorship and on-site support to ECD educators.
- Facilitate educator training sessions and parent workshops.
- Support community engagement and mobilisation activities.
- Monitor programme progress and ensure quality delivery.
- Collect and analyze data, compile monthly and quarterly progress reports.
- Liaise with educators, centre managers, parents and stakeholders

- Experience with ECD centres/NGO or donor-funded programmes.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum Framework for children from birth to 4-year-olds.
- Understanding of ECD within the context of the South African Children`s Act 38 of 2005
- Knowledge of early numeracy, literacy or science programmes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- ECD qualification (minimum NQF level 6)
- Bachelor’s degree in Community Development (or related) will be an added advantage.
- Experience in facilitation/training and community-based programmes.
- Experience in project coordination/programme implementation (ECD preferred).
- Strong communication, organisation and report-writing skills.
- Commitment to travel between ECD centres
- Own transport
- Valid drivers license
- Police clearance certificate
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Experience with ECD centres/NGO or donor-funded programmes.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum Framework for children from birth to 4-year-olds.
