This role is for someone who knows how to keep the numbers standing when the assets are doing the heavy lifting.
Your foundation includes
Full financial accounting for a property portfolio Monthly management accounts and investor reporting Cashflow forecasts tied to real assets and real timelines Annual financial statements in line with IFRS Budgeting and long-term property forecasts Supporting property acquisitions, disposals, and valuations Managing audits, tax submissions, and statutory compliance Working closely with asset and property managers Ensuring controls are tight and the books dont develop cracksWhat you must bring to the site
A relevant finance or accounting degree Proven property sector experience (this is a must) At least 3+ years in a similar financial accounting role Strong IFRS and South African regulatory knowledge Experience with property cashflows, budgets, and forecasts Comfort working with investors, auditors, and bankers Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail Ability to zoom out strategically and drill down when neededWhy this role is prime real estate
