SALES COUNTER VACANCY @ WP Packaging Sandbaai, Hermanus.
(Full Time & Retail Hours apply.)
We are seeking an honest, dynamic and multi-functional candidate to join our Team.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Customer Service: Provide a friendly greeting to all customers upon entry and exit.
2) Sales Support: Assist customers through the shopping experience.
3) Cashier Duties: Handle POS transactions, item checking, cash-ups and security protocols.
4) Store Maintenance: Maintain the housekeeping of the front-desk and shelves.
5) Merchandising: Ensure stock presentation is kept neat and shop-able as items are moved / sold.
6) Feedback: Collect, capture and present unique product requests.
7) Product Knowledge: Translate product features into helpful information to drive sales.
8) General: Responsible for providing excellent service and fulfill daily store operations.
The successful candidate should / be:
· A resident in the Hermanus area.
· A team player.
· Have Matric.
· Have a minimum of 5 years working experience as a cashier / counter sales person.
· Fully bilingual - English and Afrikaans.
· Be professional, of sober habits and a non-smoker.
· Have contactable references.
· Have no criminal record.
Experience on IQ Retail POS system would be an added advantage.
