Job Description
Company based in Durban central requires a Junior Buyer who will ensure we achieve our KPI's, support sales to deliver great service to our customers and build strong internal and external relationships.
Duties include but not limited to:
* Source all buyout items
* Adhere to procurement KPI's
*Prevent, identify and resolve stock shortages, and availability issues
*Keep upto date with market trends and react swiftly to changes in demand
*Ensure consistent cross function communication between stakeholders
*Manage supplier relationships
*Place and manage outgoing PO's
*Understand supplier capabilities, capacities and priorities and put in place contingency plans where necessary
*Negotiating prices, rebates and payment terms
*Maintenance of purchasing contracts and agreements
*Provide support to dispatch stores
*Manage logistics
