Key Responsibilities:Primary Focus: Analyze existing security policies and procedures, identify weaknesses, and implement robust changes to better protect the company from all threats. Develop and manage site-specific security strategies for all branches. Conduct daily oversight of all security operations, including access control, guarding services, and CCTV surveillance. Perform regular, in-depth risk assessments of each branch and implement mitigation measures. Lead and manage all incident response activities, including investigations and detailed reporting. Supervise and manage all security personnel and external service providers, ensuring they meet company standards. Ensure all security staff are PSIRA-registered and fully compliant with all relevant South African legislation. Maintain meticulous security documentation, including registers, audit records, and incident reports. Requirements:
At least 3 years in a security supervisory or management role is mandatory. A Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred. Valid PSIRA Registration (Grade A is highly desirable). A valid Drivers Licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the region. Strong leadership and people management skills. Exceptional risk assessment and strategic problem-solving abilities. In-depth knowledge of South African security legislation and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
