With a strong focus on operational excellence, efficiency, and quality, the business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to take full ownership of warehouse, dispatch, and distribution operations.This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective warehouse operations across receiving, storage (dry and cold), picking, dispatch, and returns. The role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and a continuous improvement mindset.

• • Key Responsibilities:
    
    • Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and returns
    • Lead, manage, and develop warehouse teams, team leaders, drivers, and support staff
    • Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost control across all warehouse activities
    • Ensure accurate stock control, FIFO principles, and regular stock counts and stock takes
    • Oversee dispatch, route planning, loading, and delivery coordination
    • Ensure compliance with SOPs, food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company policies
    • Monitor performance metrics including order accuracy, turnaround times, backorders, and losses
    • Investigate stock variances, damages, and operational issues, implementing corrective actions
    • Manage vehicle operations including maintenance, licensing, cleanliness, and driver compliance
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational changes where required
    • Ensure accurate reporting, record-keeping, and communication with management and internal departments
    Requirements:
    
    • Proven experience in a Warehouse Operations Manager or similar senior warehouse leadership role
    • Strong background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or high-volume distribution environments
    • Solid understanding of stock control, dispatch, route planning, and warehouse systems
    • Strong people management and leadership skills
    • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
