Description:
To prepare the deli food and to service deli customers
Prepare rotisserie chicken and other take away foods
Ensure that the counter is stocked and has visually appealing displays
Ensure stock rotation disciplines are adhered to
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards
Maintain and complete all documentation i.e. temperature recording, probe and scale calibration
Use product knowledge to suggest buying options
Ensure that waste is identified and removed
Be available and flexible to work different shifts and across the store
Requirements:
- Hygiene Coordination: 1 to 2 years
- Scale Calibration: 1 to 2 years
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF would be advantageous
Exceptional hygiene skills
Experience as a deli assistant or working for a catering company or equivalent (foods handling environment) is beneficial
Proficient in English
Be available and flexible to work different shifts and across the store
