As a Desktop Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients Endpoint environment. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities utilising the available client infrastructure and preferred applications or toolsets. This role involves proactive monitoring, incident response, patch management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture of the Endpoints in the clients environment.Key deliverables:

Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) (or in progress) Certified Security Professional Hacking and Hardening Windows Infrastructure ITIL v4 Foundation Experience Requirements
13 years experience in Endpoint, desktop, or EUC support roles Hands-on exposure to: Windows 10/11 Endpoint configuration Microsoft Defender Antivirus and Defender for Endpoint (basic onboarding) ASR rules (audit mode, basic enforcement) Alert triage and escalation within MDE Familiarity with: Active Directory and Group Policy fundamentals Basic incident response processes
