A well-established organisation based in JHB North is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a newly qualified or early-career finance professional looking to gain hands-on exposure across accounting, financial statements, and payroll within a structured environment.The position suits a self-starter who is comfortable working independently, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and general ledger
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Process and manage payroll and related reconciliations
- Support month-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Qualification: CA(SA) or BCom + Articles (AGA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience: 12 years post-qualification / post-articles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Payroll experience (advantageous)
