Description:
Key Responsibilities:Design and build conceptual, logical, and physical data models within Datasphere. Develop and maintain semantic layers, views, and data products aligned to business requirements. Integrate diverse data sources (cloud, on-premises, APIs, flat files) into Datasphere. Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards. Optimize models for performance and scalability. Collaborate with BI, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models. Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) and strong data modelling background. Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, Snowflake, Azure, Google Big Query Experience with data integration tools and cloud platforms (e.g., SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, GCP). Understanding of star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modelling, and semantic modelling. Knowledge of data governance, security concepts, and best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience:
7 years+ experience in data engineering, data modelling, or BI development. Hands-on experience with Datasphere or equivalent cloud-based data platforms.
