They are currently seeking a Senior C# API Developer to join their team on-site in Pretoria. This is a senior, hands-on role working closely with a Software Architect to design and build efficient, high-performance APIs and distributed services.
Role Overview
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core
• Work in a focused team of API and Front-End developers on distributed systems
• Collaborate closely with the Software Architect to translate technical specifications into optimal implementations
• Apply clean architecture, SOLID principles, and best practices to ensure code quality and scalability
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, refinement, and prioritisation
• Mentor developers and actively share best practices
Requirements
Experience
• 7–10 years of professional software development experience
• Strong focus on building RESTful APIs using C#
Technical Skills
• C# and .NET Core (expert level)
• Clean Architecture & SOLID principles
• Entity Framework
• GitHub & feature-based branching
• Unit and end-to-end testing
Nice to Have
• Code modernisation for cloud environments
• API hardening practices
• CI/CD pipeline exposure
Culture & Personal Attributes
