Financial Manager Observatory Cape Town Our global client in technology is looking for an experienced Financial Manager which would be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role involves managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. The Financial Manager will lead a team of finance professionals and work closely with other departments to support the organization's financial goals. Salary Negotiable Min Requirements and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • A CA(SA) Qualification is an added Advantage • 7 years plus of experience as a Financial Manager or similar role. • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis. • Excellent experience in using Excel and SAP Responsibilities • Managing a team of 8 staff members within the finance team reporting to the CFO • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals working on SAP • Financial Planning and Analysis • Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations. • Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders. • Budget Management • Financial Reporting • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. • Risk Management - Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks. • Strategic Support - Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management. • Compliance and Governance - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. • Maintain effective internal controls and governance processes.
