- Matric
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or a related field (practical experience and industry knowledge will be given greater weight than formal qualifications alone)
- Minimum 4 yearsâ experience as a Junior Manager or Senior Sales Representative with management responsibility
- Proven experience in sales, budgeting and target achievement
- Demonstrated people management and team coordination experience
- Proven exposure to co-operative purchasing or sales to co-operatives
- Background in chemical products (agricultural, industrial or garden chemicals)
- Strong relationship-building skills with head offices, regional managers, and branch managers
- Experience in pricing, margin management and promotions
- Ability to analyse and report on performance, profitability and business risks
- Willingness to travel as required
