Our client is seeking an experienced and organized Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations at their Bloemfontein location. This role focuses on managing kitchen workflows, supervising staff, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and ensuring smooth operational efficiency.

Minimum requirements
Matric Fluent in English and Afrikaans Valid driver's license and own vehicle advantageous OR reliable transport Minimum of 3 years' experience in hospitality Minimum of 2 + years' management experience Proficient in Microsoft 365 and POS systemSkill required
Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise kitchen staff effectively Excellent organizational and time management abilities to ensure smooth kitchen operations Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, ISO, or local regulations) Ability to plan and manage inventory and monitor stock levels Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle operational challenges Good communication skills for coordinating with staff, suppliers, and management Ability to implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) Attention to detail to ensure consistency and quality in service Basic budgeting and cost-control knowledge to manage expenses efficiently Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environmentDuties and responsibilities
