JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for
- Driving sales and growth for the company’s rubber products within the greater Gauteng region.
- Identify new business opportunities, maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction through technical knowledge and responsive service
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors: mining, automotive, construction, manufacturing and industrial supply.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular visits, technical support and after-sales service.
- Present and demonstrate rubber products (industrial rubber sheeting, moulded parts, seals, gaskets, hoses, etc.) to clients
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and manage the sales process from enquiry to order closure
- Work closely with internal departments (production, logistics, quality control, D&D) to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Create and follow customer call cycle to ensure regular representation at customer level.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and customer meetings.
- Support finance team in ensuring prompt invoicing and customer payments are maintained
- Follow RFQ process with customers from request to commercial agreement to grow local manufacturing
PERFORMANCE INDICATOR:
- Budget achievement
