Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for the Procurement Specialist to be based at their mine in the Northern Cape!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement of goods and services for mining projects in line with project schedules, budgets and governance requirements
- Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies, including sourcing, tendering and supplier selection
- Lead contract negotiation, award and administration to ensure cost efficiency, quality and compliance
- Manage supplier performance, relationships and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, ESG standards and reporting obligations
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree or Hons degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or Business Management
- CIPS Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply will be advantageous
- 8 years Procurement experience in a mining environment
- Valid Driver’s License
