We are appointing a professionally registered Structural Engineer or Structural Engineering Technologist to support infrastructure maintenance, assessment, and repair projects in compliance with CIDB Grade 1 (GB & CE) requirements. The role will provide technical oversight, structural input, and compliance support for assigned works.Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Valid professional registration with ECSA as:

Professional Structural Engineer or
-
Professional Engineering Technologist (Structural)

NQF Level 7 qualification in Structural Engineering (BEng, BTech, or equivalent)

Demonstrated experience in structural design, assessment, or building/civil works

Knowledge of South African building codes and standards

Ability to prepare and review technical reports and drawings

Valid South African ID Key Responsibilities

Provide structural engineering input and technical oversight

Conduct structural assessments and site inspections

Review and approve structural designs and remedial works

Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations

Support project teams with technical reporting and sign-off where required Remuneration
R45,000 – R70,000 per month, depending on registration category and experience
