My client is looking for an experienced Invoicing Clerk to join a fast-paced environment supporting clients within the supply chain and logistics sector.This role is based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and issue large volumes of customer invoices, including foreign currency billing Ensure all invoicing is completed in line with internal controls, procedures, and client requirements Interpret invoicing guidelines and provide clarity where needed Engage with clients to investigate discrepancies and resolve billing queries efficiently Manage daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing deadlines to ensure timely delivery Contribute to client planning and forecasting processes Collaborate with management to ensure service levels and client expectations are met Participate in client meetings or site visits when required Support the improvement and implementation of invoicing processes Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information, including seasonal changes Ensure all required data is complete and correct before processing Perform general administrative duties related to invoicing Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit requests
Job Experience and Skills Required: Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Accounting Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous) 23 years experience in an invoicing or billing role, preferably within Supply Chain or Logistics Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
