Key responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the private sector to expand the customer base. Promote and sell ICT Products and services. Sell complementary IT solutions, including software applications, hardware, and IT infrastructure products. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business. Conduct client needs assessments and product demonstrations in coordination with technical teams. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare pricing, proposals, and documentation for tenders and RFPs. Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and market competition. Log sales activities and client interactions in CRM or internal sales tracking systems. Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings as needed. Minimum Technical Skills and Qualifications:
National Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field will be added advantage. 3 - 5 years of sales or client-facing experience, preferably in IT or technology solutions. Basic understanding of business development, market research and lead generation. Desirable Skills:
Experience working with private sector clients or understanding of procurement cycles. Exposure to tender documentation or proposal development. Familiarity with CRM tools is advantageous. Desirable Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Sales-driven with a hunter mentality. Willingness to learn and grow within the IT sector. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organised. Ability to build rapport and manage client relationships. Professional presentation and negotiation skills.
