Description:
Melrose, Johannesburg
Youll support senior engineers on infrastructure design projects, assist with drawings, calculations, and reports, and help ensure designs meet SA codes and standards. On top of that, youll work with data, dashboards, and analytics to improve design efficiency and decision-making.

Essential
MSc or PhD in Civil Engineering
Strong foundation in civil design principles and engineering mathematics
Proficiency in Power BI (dashboards, DAX, data modelling)
Exposure to AI, machine learning, or data analytics (Python, MATLAB, R or similar)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar design software
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Advantageous
Experience with optimisation, simulation, or predictive modelling
Exposure to BIM, digital twins, or smart infrastructure
