Responsibilities:Turn briefs and strategic goals into creative ideas that genuinely connect with the target audience. Produce graphic visualisation and mock-ups of products and point-of-sale installations. Design product packaging and labels from concept to print-ready artwork. Insert translations into product packaging and labels for export markets. Design instore point-of-sale items from concept through to the finished product and all intermediate stages. Design monthly sales support items like price tickets, trade presenters and catalogues. Undertake design of print and promotional materials from concept to production ready artwork. Undertake deep-etching and retouching of product images for use in marketing and sales collateral. Undertake proofing process of packaging prior to print. Manage and keep up to date any in-house image libraries. Maintain in-house competitive intelligence and branding. Work with marketing team to supply marketing material, both printed and online. Keep up-to-date with graphic design software and tools Maintain up-to-date knowledge of printing processes and adhere to delivery as required. Requirements:
3-year National Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent 6 to 7 years experience at an agency or in a corporate design team Track record of successful campaigns Packaging experience is advantageous Overseeing output of junior team members when required Checking and signing off artwork when required Understanding of repro principles and print processes Ability to take jobs from concept through to finished art Proficiency on Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Illustrator & Photoshop Excellent eye for detail and meticulous about craftmanship of work Great time management skills and work ethic Ability to hit the ground running and work independently
