Job Description
You will be responsible for the following:
- Design, planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within buildings and infrastructure.
- Design HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
- Develop designs for fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, smoke extraction).
- Produce plumbing and drainage designs (hot water, cold water, sewer, stormwater).
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, SANS standards, and local regulatory requirements
- Project Planning and Coordination
- Technical Analysis and Calculations
- Construction Monitoring and Quality Control
- Maintenance and Operations Support
- Sustainability & Energy Efficiency (Green Building)
Qualifications
- BSc Mechanical Engineering
- Professionally registered with ECSA
