Purpose of the Position
Ensure the quality and reliability of business-critical systems by performing thorough software testing, with a focus on short-term insurance processes, service provider platforms, and third-party integrations, within a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM development environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements and user stories to design comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing across multiple systems and platforms
- Validate third-party integrations and service provider interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile ceremonies and sprint cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools and methodologies
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and automation strategies
- Support release and deployment activities, including post-implementation verification
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Proven experience within the short-term insurance industry
- Solid understanding of insurance workflows and business processes
- Hands-on experience in Agile/SCRUM environments
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, SQL, and Azure DevOps
- ISTQB Certification (Foundation or higher)
- Relevant IT degree or diploma
