We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our business within the KwaZulu-Natal region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing key accounts, and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Performance Areas:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Strategic planning: Developing and executing regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Budget and sales management: Full ownership of regional budgets, forecasts, and sales targets.

  • Key account management: Building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with retail and wholesale partners.

  • Team leadership: Managing, coaching, and mentoring staff and sales agents to drive performance and professional development.

  • Operational excellence: Overseeing stock management and ensuring strong in-trade execution.

  • Market analysis: Conducting ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • 3–4 years’ proven experience in a Regional Sales or similar role within the FMCG sector.

    • Demonstrated experience dealing with buyers, customers, agents, and distributors.

    • Strong computer literacy and reporting capability.

    • Proven ability in market analysis and product forecasting.

    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

    • Strong conflict management, organisational, and leadership abilities.

    • Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
