KEY RESPONSIBILITIESClaims Processing:
Manage the end-to-end claims process, including registration, assessment, validation, and settlement of claims. Ensure claims are processed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Accurately capture claims information and update records in the claims management system. Client Service:
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, explain claims processes, and provide updates. Address client queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a positive client experience. Escalate complex or disputed claims to the Team Leader when required. Investigation and Assessment:
Verify the validity of claims by reviewing documentation, conducting investigations, and liaising with service providers. Identify potential fraud and report any suspicious activity to the relevant department. Ensure accurate assessment of damages and costs in collaboration with assessors or other experts. Collaboration:
Work closely with service providers, such as assessors, repairers, and other third parties, to facilitate claims resolution. Collaborate with the Team Leader and other team members to address challenges and improve processes. Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all claims handling practices comply with company policies and industry regulations. Prepare and submit claims reports to the Team Leader as required. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Matric Certificate. At least 2 years of experience in short-term insurance (building and content) claims processing or a related role. Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is essential. Strong knowledge of non-motor short-term insurance products and claims processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
