We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs in line with SANS standards, the OHS Act, and Construction Butler’s quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on construction sites
· Install and maintain single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
· Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
· Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
· Ensure full compliance with OHS Act, SANS standards, and site safety procedures
· Complete job cards, inspections, and reports accurately and on time
· Work collaboratively with site managers, artisans, and other trades
· Adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations

· Strong technical and problem-solving skills

· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
· Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
· Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) – Red Seal preferred
· Matric (Grade 12)
· Minimum 3–5 years’ post-trade experience in construction or related environments
· Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
· Solid understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations
· Ability to work independently and under pressure
· Valid driver’s license – required
· Own Vehicle - Advantageous
· Medically fit to work on construction sites
