We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee the construction of a new waterworks in the Thohoyandou area. The successful candidate will ensure that construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all construction activities on-site.
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Report on project progress and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction supervision.
- Strong Civil/Structural engineering background , including:
- Earthworks
- Reinforced concrete
- Building structures
- Ideally registered as PrEngTechni ; other relevant qualifications/registrations will also be considered.
- Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
