About RoleAmbucare Plus is a medical response organisation with offices in Jhb and Dbn. A vacancy has arisen for quick, logical thinkers who can remain calm under pressure, to work as Emergency Call Operators in the Emergency Call Centre which operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Answering of emergency calls and providing immediate support to caller.
• Logging emergency calls
• Dispatching of all relevant emergency services.
• Monitoring progress of the emergency case until conclusion.
• Administration duties to include maintaining case records.
Required Skills & Experience
• Matric plus a sales or marketing qualification. • Experience working in a high-pressure call centre or EMS environment. • Strong Communication with an excellent command of English (verbal and written). Ability to speak or understand Zulu, Afrikaans, Sotho, Setswana is an added advantage
• Able to perform general admin duties including filing, completing reports
• Able to multitask and work autonomously while maintaining open channels of communication with a team.
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook) is essential, with the ability to pick up new systems with ease.
• Able to maintain confidentiality
• Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to work either day or night shifts,work weekends and public holidays depending on shift
• Sales experience is an advantage • Code10 Drivers license is an advantage
