Description:

Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires a Banking Administrator to join the Head Office team on a 4 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be required to ensure to load all supplier payments on the Banking Systems according to Dis-Chem standard operating procedures and maintain an accurate data record system.

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 2 to 3 Years in Fixed Assets and Banking Systems

Advantageous:

  • Experience on the SAP system
  • Relevant Accounting qualification

Job Specification…

  • Accurately load all banking payments.
  • Do account verification on all new beneficiaries.
  • Load new beneficiaries on the banking system.
  • Accurately and within the set time period, post the deposit and final payment invoices to the applicable vendor account.
  • Maintain perpetual inventory records.
  • Balance all Company Codes and Fixed Asset Registers to the General Ledger.
  • Ensure frequent communication with staff and vendors both verbally and in writing regarding matters relating to the loading of batches on the banking system.
  • Ensure good customer relationships are built and maintained with internal and external customers.

  • Knowledge of Fixed Assets and Banking programs
  • English – Read, write and speak well
  • Have good Financial Accounting skills
  • Be trustworthy and honest, accurate, diligent and pay attention to detail
  • Needs to be able to identify and solve problems
  • Need to be able to plan and prioritize duties
  • Have good time management skills
  • Be self-motivated

Advantageous:

  • Experience on Banking Systems
  • 2 nd additional Language – Speak Well

Special conditions of employment:

  • Needs to work under pressure and reach tight deadlines
  • South African
  • MIE, clear criminal and credit
  • Driver’s license and/or own reliable transport
