Our mine, situated in the Limpopo Province about 60 kilometers from Lydenburg and 40 kilometers from Burgersfort, and is a world-class producer of Chrome Ore.The successful applicant will report to the Chief Safety Officer or nominee.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 / Standard 10.
- ISO Certificate (45001/14001/9001).
- Advantageous: Mine Health & Safety Act Law Certificate.
EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):
- 1 - year practical experience in document control in a SHERQ environment.
- 2 years practical experience in ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
DUTIES (including but not limited to):
- To act as custodian of the document control process coordinate, maintain, store and update all legal and controlled documents for the mine. Ensure a document management process exists and is followed.
- Continuous co-ordination, record keeping, maintenance and administration of all documentation • Initiate review processes of existing and new documentation system as part of continuous improvement. Ensure availability of most recent documents in collaboration with document owners and SHERQ management on review and sign-off. Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders on request. Quality assurance of all system documentation by ensuring compliance and/or alignment with templates designed and aligned with ISO-standards. Administration of Permits and Licences using data base, checks and balances. Manage and maintain filing systems for required documents.
- Administration and maintenance of all required legal appointments and documents (lack of storage facility) • Maintain and update legal appointments and legal register on the network.
- Compile and submission of monthly overdue documentation and permit and licence report
- Communicate new and revised documentation Mine-wide by email, and drawing on communications officer. Consult with relevant management parties regarding their documentation system to provide effective guidance and advice.
