Our client in Vereeniging is looking for a Buying Manager, responsible for strategic sourcing, selection and procurement of goods and / or services that meet the companies quality, cost and delivery requirements.Salary negotiable depending on experience and qualification. Minimum requirements:- Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Materials Management or similar filed
- 8 Years experience in a similar working environment
- Working knowledge of Project Management principles and Supply Chain systems
- SAP One experience (Essential)
- Excellent MS Office skills - Excel at Advanced level
- Excellent knowledge and experience of Administrative processes
- Responsible for Supplier and Contract Management, Procurement and Sourcing
- Strategic procurement management
- Process Improvement and Reporting
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure that supplier relationships are effectively managed, stock levels are optimized and purchasing decisions support operational needs and company profitability
