Description:
The Processor is a key control role responsible for the accurate processing, pricing, categorisation, and release of secondhand stock to the retail floor. This position plays a critical role in maintaining healthy stock turn, protecting margins, and ensuring pricing is market-related and aligned with Cash Converters standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching market values, managing aged stock, overseeing repairs, conducting Walk-the-Line with sales staff, and maintaining strict inventory and storeroom control. This role requires strong commercial judgement, attention to detail, and high levels of honesty and integrity.
Requirements (qualifications, experience, skills):
Experience & Knowledge
Previous retail experience preferred. Strong understanding of secondhand market pricing, stock categorisation, and retail trends Experience using CCPOS or similar retail inventory systems Solid technical knowledge across electronics, tools, and general merchandiseSkills & Competencies
Ability to research and price stock based on market value, not cost price Ability to manage stock and repairs effectively Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Confident decision-maker able to justify pricing strategies Good communication skills for management feedbackPersonal Attributes
