Description:
This person must already have hands-on exposure and is ready to take ownership of day-to-day functions in a small but fast-moving environment. This is not a purely administrative role. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the core finance function and working closely with company shareholders. Accuracy, accountability, and a proactive mindset are essential.Key Responsibilities:
Maintain SARS-compliant financial records using Pastel Accounts Prepare and process customer invoicing Manage debtors and creditors, including follow-ups Perform bank reconciliations Assist with payroll processing and commission calculations Prepare VAT reconciliations and supporting schedules Monitor and update cash flow information Manage purchase orders and supplier documentation Assist with data analysis and preparation of basic management accounts Compile simple performance and KPI reports Act as the first point of contact for internal finance-related queries Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive financial information Support shareholders with ad hoc finance-related tasks Minimum Requirements:
Afrikaans as a 1st language and English as a 2nd Matric certificate Minimum 3 years experience in this full function Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification (certificate or diploma) Practical exposure to Pastel Accounts or similar accounting software Understanding of VAT, payroll, and reconciliations Comfortable working with numbers and MS Excel Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Professional, reliable, and eager to learn and grow Application Process:
