Description:
We are looking for a star Financial manager to assist with the running of our accounts department and all that this entails.
Formal qualifications are a must .
And capability as follows :
- familiar with running the books of a medium size factory as well as meeting deadlines.
- All Monthly management accounts, trial balances, etc
- Proficient in Pastel / Sage evolution
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
- Analyse business operations, trends, costs , revenues, financial commitments, budgets and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards will be critical.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
- Manage monthly / yearly statutory payments such as workman’s compensation, seta training etc.
- Banking / Stock management / Wages

- Extensive grasp of excel ,word and outlook
- Full bookkeeping experience capturing to Trial balance (at least) & completion of statutory returns (VAT,PAYE,UIF,SDL and Workmens Comp)
- VAT knowledge, experience in reconciliation and problem solving
- E-filing experience
- Processing and reconciliation of creditors and debtors accounts
- Good Problem-solving skills
- Credit control
- salary/wage/tax calculation exposure
- Pastel payroll program experience
- Pastel evolution program experience
- Pastel software knowledge for problem solving, updates and maintenance
- Easy file experience (Paye reconciliations and IRP5 and IT3 certificates are generated here)
