Job Title: Manager: Service

Location: Motus Welkom

Motus Welkom is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager: Service. This position involves overseeing the service department operations to ensure the timely and efficient completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling and assigning work to technicians, monitoring progress, and ensuring high quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service department efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Maintain and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other departments within the organization.
- Provide effective leadership, coaching, and support to service department staff.
- Exceed all targets and labour sale objectives through efficient workshop operations.
- Ensure efficient equipment control, assets control and fluent administration processes.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead and manage service team.
- Create and Leverage Collaborative Partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer and Lindsay Saker policies as well as industry guidelines.
- Achieve industry leading standards of customer care, process efficiency and cost control.


Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the automotive service industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and achieve operational goals.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and service management software.
- Valid driver's license.
- Recognized Motor Trade plus N6 or Technical Diploma.
- Exceed all targets and Labour sale objectives through efficient workshop operations.
- Ensure efficient equipment control, assets control and fluent administration processes.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead and manage service team.

Skills and Expertise

- Proven track record in managing people and working on OEM software systems.
- Computer skills, preferably MS work processing, Drive and preferable VWSA operating systems.
- Financial-reporting and forecasting skills.
- Motor industry and Workshop management knowledge.
- People management.
- Business, Sales, and Service Process knowledge.
- Professional & Technical Expertise in Vehicle Service & Repair Management.
- Proven track record in managing people and working on VWSA software systems.
- Computer skills, preferably MS work processing, Driver and preferable VWSA operating systems.
