Welder

Description:

We are looking for a semi skilled to skilled Welder to cut and join metals for transport company. You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mainly volumax trailers or parts with a great deal of precision.

Requirements:

• Welding: 1 to 2 years

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld small and large components for trailers
• Use specialized machinery for welding
• Maintain and repair all machinery.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
