Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Project Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of solar PV projects from feasibility through commissioning. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities
Assist in the engineering design and technical evaluation of solar PV systems Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analyses Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation Support procurement and contractor selection processes Oversee installation activities and ensure compliance with design and safety standards Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover of solar projects Provide technical support during project execution and operations Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulationsRequirements
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field Experience in solar PV project engineering (utility-scale or C&I preferred) Strong understanding of solar PV system design, components, and grid integration Experience with design software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope) Knowledge of local electrical codes and renewable energy standards Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills Willingness to travel to project sites as required
