The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and managing scorecards, profitability models, impairments, and credit policies, while leading a team of professionals.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain credit risk models, including scorecards and profitability models.
- Drive strategic decision-making through advanced quantitative analysis.
- Oversee impairment calculations and ensure compliance with credit policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Partner with stakeholders to optimize credit risk strategies and portfolio performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in banking with a focus on credit risk decisioning.
- Strong knowledge of scorecards, profitability models, impairments, and credit policies.
- High proficiency in:
- SQL;
- Python; and
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated people management and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
